Welcome to the Emergent Disrupt Challenge – a 2-hour, rapid-fire innovation sprint where you'll create a brand-new product idea from scratch! This isn't about polished code; it's about demonstrating how AI tools make it radically easier to turn ideas into action.
Date: April 19, 2025
Time: 1:40 PM - 4:00 PM
Location: Starting at MacMillan Hall, then various campus locations with workshops in the Nelson Center
Prize Pool: $10,000 in prizes!

- 1:15 - 1:25 PM: Kickoff with Matt Fisher at MacMillan Hall
- 1:25 - 4:00 PM: Build your solution
- 4:00 PM: Submissions due
- 4:50 - 5:20 PM: Winners ($$$) announced at MacMillan Hall Auditorium

- Teams of 2-4 people, technical and nontechnical backgrounds welcome.
- 1 person on each team must be a Brown student.
- Options:
- Come with a pre-formed team

🎯 Your Mission
- Over the course of the challenge, your team will:
- Identify a real, unmet need in your selected track
- Ideate and refine an AI-powered solution
- Use no-code/low-code tools to build a prototype or MVP
- Develop a product vision, business model, or go-to-market plan
- Record a 2-minute video pitch to showcase your work
- Reminder: All work must start on the day of the challenge. No pre-built projects allowed.
